It is easy to add your website in google search console.
Step 1: Search For Google Search Console on google.

Click at Start Now Button
Add Your Domain Name or URL Prefix
Step 2: For Checking the Performance of Your Website Go to the Main Menu and Click the “Add A Property” Button at the Top of the Page
If you are adding a website to GSC for the first time then you can directly add the exact URL of your website in Prefix.
If you already have domain then you go to Add Property.
Step 3: Enter the URL of Your Website, Then Click Continue
Step 4: Next You’ll Be Asked To Verify that You Own the Website in One of Four Ways
- If you have access to the root of your website you can upload an HTML file.
- If you manage your hosting yourself, you can verify via your hosting provider.
- If you use Google Tag Manager, you can verify via Google Tags.
- Or, by far the quickest and easiest method, verify ownership via your Google Analytics Tracking ID.
From these four verification methods copy the tag code of anyone and paste it into your site homepage.

Step 5: Open the Dashboard of Your Website Then Go To the Plugin that You Used for SEO. Click at Webmaster Tools
These steps are specific to add your WordPress website in GSC. If you want to add websites made with other tools like Duda, Shopify Scroll Down.
Step 6: Paste the Copied Tag
After Tag code paste in google verification code save the settings and go back to verify.

Open the Website Dashboard and Click on Developer Mode
- Next click on head section
- Paste the copied tag here and save changes
